How did completing your project help you explore the role of arts in the lives of New Yorkers and their communities?
The game took inspiration directly from how New York is always displayed in media- getting destroyed. But New Yorkers are tougher than what action movies would present. We thought of items that are associated with new york- hot dogs, metrocards- and gave the New Yorkers (represented by the CUNY mascots) the chance to fight back.
