_rmory

A collage of images formed into the letter "A"

Group Members: Osei Dwomoh

_rmory aims to help people see the Kingsbridge Armory in a new light. It’s about more than just art, it’s about creating a dialogue and building a sense of ownership in the community. Through this project, I hope people will feel inspired to get involved, change their perspectives on the area, and work together to improve our community one step at a time. Ultimately, I want _rmory to be a starting point for bigger conversations about husingspaces like the Armory to represent who we are and what we can achieve together.

How did completing your project help you explore the role of arts in the lives of New Yorkers and their communities?

My project showed me how art can connect people and inspire them to reimagine their community. It helped me see how creativity can start conversations and bring new perspectives to spaces like the Kingsbridge Armory.
