Emerald Ash Borers and Ash Trees in NYC

Group Members: Jacky Ye, Melody Lew, Jan Carlo Avendano

Utilizing the observations from iNaturalist, we will
determine the relationship between the population of
emerald ash borers and the population of ash trees in
New York City. We hypothesize that as the emerald
ash borer population increases, the ash tree
population decreases because of the deterioration
caused by emerald ash borers.
