Please Fear The Walking New Yorker

Group Members: Emmanuel Nudelman, Maxim Korobov, Alexander Marty

The New York commuting experience can be chaotic, violent, and like no other. However, this is a shared experience we face daily as CUNY alumni. Looking through the first-person perspective in this film, you will be in a dramatized world of arguments, conflicts, and struggle.

How did completing your project help you explore the role of arts in the lives of New Yorkers and their communities?

Understanding the struggles faced by fellow students in CUNY on their commutes has inspired me to demonstrate the gravity of each and every individual experience. Through storytelling, personal experience, and subway horror tales, we were able to appreciate and better understand how commuting brings New Yorkers closer together.
