The Impact of CO2 Emissions on Bird Populations in New York

Group Members: Sherise Chen, Krupa Patel, Enming Xu

As cities expand due to urbanization, the natural environment undergoes significant change due to the CO₂ emissions, which can impact local wildlife. Our study explored the correlation between the carbon dioxide emissions and the avian population in New York State, to show how urbanization impacts animal life (specifically bird life). This study hopes to raise awareness about the impact of carbon dioxide emissions, in hopes of appealing the audience to start paying attention to and protecting animal life.
