STEAM Mask

STEAM MASK

Group Members: Shahad Hossain

My STEAM mask contains various things that represent me, such as my religion, background, interests, and even future career. On the mask, you can find the Bangladesh flag, dumbbells, football, Islamic symbol, and computer with code, all representing a portion of who I am.

How did completing your project help you explore the role of arts in the lives of New Yorkers and their communities?

My project helped me discover portions of myself in the larger New York community that I resonate with. So, for example, in my STEAM mask I put my countries flag and my religion all of which demonstrate the part of New York City I connect with.
