Comparing Chronic Lower Respiratory (CLR) Disease Mortality Rates to Air Quality/Pollution and Public Transportation Usage Across 5 States

Group Members: Ingrid Ibarra, Karen Flores, Eric Chavez and Sara Rodriguez

Regardless of our conclusions, this project still calls for a deeper investigation into the issue of CLR disease mortality rates in general and rising air pollution. We still believe that it is of utmost importance for cities, states and countries to invest more in public transportation and clean energy as to mitigate the number of motor vehicles in use and thereby lower carbon emissions rates.
