Our project focuses on the impact of meditation on physical and mental health. We specifically researched mindfulness meditation, which is specific form based on feeling sensations and allowing your body to regulate itself through breathing exercises. The studies that we researched showed that meditation practitioners scored higher on the Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale, implying that they are more aligned to the world around them. We also connected this to the power of music and how that can be implemented into those practices through mindful listening. Our goal is to show people that anyone can practice meditation as long as they are consistent with their routine and with time, the results will show.
