The Visible and the Invisible Exhibition Review

Group Members: Renee Tso

Our class visited a plethora of different institutions and exhibitions throughout the semester and we decided to create a guide/review of specific institutions we thought were interesting.

How did completing your project help you explore the role of arts in the lives of New Yorkers and their communities?

Completing this project allowed me to think about all of the institutions and exhibitions we have visited in this class throughout the semester and I was able to reflect on some of my favorite ones. Through these visits, I was able to see how art surrounds New Yorkers and how you can find exhibitions anywhere, not just in bigger institutions such as the MET, but in small townhouses and streets such as Soho or Chelsea.
